Upcoming training, autumn 2021

April and I are starting a new training season for the Little Rock Marathon weekend (Nov. 20-21), with specific plans for her half marathon and rough outline for friends running the marathon. We offer an eight-week clinic if any of you would like formal coaching and planning.

The local Hope for the Holidays half marathon (Dec. 4) follows closely on LR weekend and is the same weekend as St. Jude in Memphis — we can extend the clinic or private coaching sessions to prepare for those. Hope for the Holidays also is the opening race in the inaugural Run Strong series, and we will be offering open course previews and training fun runs for those as they draw near.

Finally, the Women Run Arkansas clinics are finishing this year virtually and then shutting down. OK Timing Plus welcomes ladies to our open group fun runs and we can set up an affordable clinic (possibly on split days to minimize group exposure in these worrisome COVID times) for those who need guidance and support going forward.

Contact us if interested in any of these options, and watch here and on Facebook for announcements of our open fun runs or course previews.
