MY MILES: One more week until my mornings will be taken up with BHS Pioneer summer cross country, so this Monday my own miles will be logged starting 7 am from the horse arena on Miller Creek Road.
Wednesday July 1 at 7 am I will start from the side parking lot at Compass Church and run the neighborhood.
Friday 7/3 I’ll start at 7 from Rowe Lake at the Community Center and run nearby shady lanes where I can find them.
As always, all paces are welcome and I’ll be sure everyone has some company and guidance — no runner left behind.
UPCOMING: Friends are racing downhill on the Fourth at the Little Rock Firecracker 5K.
The Pioneers begin summer cross country practice Monday, July 6.
We have the Difani Memorial 5K at Eagle Mountain with a 7 am start July 11.
New Head Coach Katherine Mayberry leads the Lyon College Elite Cross Country Camp July 17-18 ($25/session or $45 for weekend).
Coach Brandon Haling at Cave City presents the Melon Dash 5K at 7 am July 25 at the city park.
