We had a good turnout at Saturday’s Difani Memorial 5K with lots of familiar names among the medal winners – and school district family, friends, and students of Difani (father and son).
More than $2500 raised for the scholarship fund.
I have not had any open group runs this week as I’ve gotten back to morning duty with Batesville Pioneer cross country.
Next area race is the Melon Dash in Cave City, July 25, 7 am. I would like to do a course preview run but I’ll be at Lyon cross country camp Friday and Saturday then have morning soundbooth duty Sunday, so won’t have a cool morning time to manage.
I will get to run the Melon Dash with many of those familiar folks from past Saturday.
